Background:

Equality between women and men is a battle that will be won through concrete progress. We, entrepreneurs and leaders, believe that our companies have a historic role to play in this essential cause.

While Spain passed a law in April 2019 increasing paternity leave to eight weeks, while everywhere in Europe, from the Netherlands to Romania, the trend is to lengthen paternity leave, France, because it remains attached in its social legislation to a gendered division, is behind on the issue of shared parental leave.

The consequence is that the bulk of the burden, whether mental, social or professional, falls on women. The habits of women at the time of childbirth have lifelong repercussions.

Our commitments:

Because the company must be the place par excellence of equity in the treatment of women and men, and because this starts concretely with the question of the arrival of a child.

In our company, we are committed to going further in the form of a paid second parent leave of at least one month.

This device concerns the second parent, regardless of gender and status, because our society is evolving and family models are as varied as they are rich and diverse.

This will be for a minimum period of one month, well beyond the legal eleven days, because we believe that this is the minimum period of time to welcome a child and establish balanced and equitable family habits.

This will be 100% paid, as it is important that financial means are not a determining factor in being a parent present.
